Der Überfall auf den humanitären UN-Konvoi in Aleppo ist eine gründlich vorbereitete Inszenierung gewesen. Das geht aus einem Bericht unabhängiger Experten der Internationalen Gruppe zur Unterstützung Syriens hervor.

Die Experten haben eine Vergleichsanalyse von Fotos und Videos des Überfalls vorgenommen, die in Massenmedien zugänglich waren. Außerdem berücksichtigten sie das Video, das eine russische Drohne aufgenommen hatte, die den Konvoi begleitet hatte. Auf dem Video war „ein Fahrzeug mit einem Anhänger deutlich zu sehen, auf dem ein großkalibriger Minenwerfer zu sehen war“. Das Auto „bewegte sich unter Deckung des humanitären Konvois“.

US-Außenminister John Kerry hat alles unternommen, um einen Ausweg aus der schwierigen Lage in Syrien zu finden, wie die Sprecherin des russischen Außenministeriums, Maria Sacharowa, am Mittwochabend gegenüber dem TV-Sender „Rossiya 1“ sagte. Die Regelung dieses Konflikts dem Außenamt komplett gutzuschreiben, sei ihm jedoch nicht gelungen.

„Was ich Ihnen genau sagen kann, ist: US-Außenminister John Kerry hat tatsächlich alles daran gesetzt, wie mir scheint, mit ganzer Seele, einen Ausweg zu finden, die Positionen anzunähern und das umzusetzen, was (mit Russland – Anm. d. Red.) vereinbart worden war. Das stimmt. Man weiß das im russischen Außenministerium, man weiß das in den USA“, so Sacharowa.

Dabei jedoch sei es „dem Außenamt leider nicht gelungen, die Meisterung der Syrien-Regelung als Aktiva in die Geschichte einzubringen“.

Kerry habe aber als „konkreter, einzeln herausgenommener Außenminister allen Grund, sich persönlich gutzuschreiben, dass er es versucht hatte“.

Die USA hatten zuvor die Syrien-Gespräche mit Russland abgebrochen, was sie mit der andauernden Bombardierung Aleppos begründeten, wofür sie Russland verantwortlich machten.

Russland hatte indes die USA für das Scheitern der Verhandlungen verantwortlich gemacht, denn die US-Regierung habe das Abkommen vom September zum Erzielen einer Waffenruhe in Syrien nicht erfüllt und versuche nun, Russland die Verantwortung zuzuschieben. „Washingtons Tatenlosigkeit hat dazu geführt, dass sich die Kämpfer neu formieren konnten, Waffen erhalten haben und ihre Ressourcen mobilisiert haben“, sagte die Außenamtssprecherin in diesem Zusammenhang.

Ecuador President Rafael Correa Affirms Solidarity with Syria

QUITO, (SANA)-President Rafael Correa of Ecuador affirmed his country’s solidarity with Syria, as leadership and people, in the face of war against it, launched by the international imperialism.

„We are reading an open book and issues are clear… what Syria encounters is a conspiracy, not demands for democracy,“ President Correa said during a ceremony on his re-election for a new constitutional term at the National Assembly in Ecuador’s capital Quito.

Syria’s Ambassador to Venezuela Ghassan Abbas who represented Syria at the ceremony conveyed President Bashar al-Assad and the Syrian government’s congratulations to President Correa who in turn conveyed his heartfelt whishes to President al-Assad.

In this regard, Ecuador Foreign Minister Ricardo Patino who met the Syrian Ambassador during the celebration affirmed his country’s support and solidarity with Syria at all international circles against the new colonial attack.

U.S. Army Chief Threatens War With Russia – “We will beat you harder than you have ever been beaten before”

Army Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Milley warned last night that the United States was ready to “destroy” its enemies in comments that were clearly directed at Russia.

“I want to be clear to those who wish to do us harm….the United States military – despite all of our challenges, despite our [operational] tempo, despite everything we have been doing – we will stop you and we will beat you harder than you have ever been beaten before. Make no mistake about that,” said Milley.

The General went on to warn that Russia and other countries had taken advantage of the U.S. being focused on the war on terror.

“Other countries – Russia, Iran, China, North Korea – went to school on us,” he said, adding, “They studied our doctrine, our tactics, our equipment, our organization, our training, our leadership. And, in turn, they revised their own doctrines, and they are rapidly modernizing their military today to avoid our strengths in hopes of defeating us at some point in the future.”

Milley cautioned that the next major conflict would “be highly lethal, unlike anything our Army has experienced at least since World War II,” and would involve fighting in “highly populated urban areas.”

“Make no mistake about it, we can now and we will … retain the capability to rapidly deploy,” he said, “and we will destroy any enemy anywhere, any time,” he concluded.

Gen. Milley made it clear who he was talking about when he went on to quote a senior Russian official who vowed, “Russia can now fight a conventional war in Europe and win.”

A nationwide television station run by the country’s Ministry of Defence warned citizens last week that nuclear conflict was on the horizon.

“Schizophrenics from America are sharpening nuclear weapons for Moscow,” reported Zvezda.

Women’s Boat to Gaza Taken in International Waters: Whereabouts of Participants Unknown (CODEPINK)

This afternoon, the Women’s Boat to Gaza was making good progress to the shores and the women were emotional about meeting all the people in Gaza who were waiting for them. Some of the Palestinians had spent the night at the beach to greet them.

At 9:58 (EST) organizers lost total contact with the Zaytouna-Oliva. The US embassy confirmed that the boat was intercepted. We do not know where our friends are.

It is important to know that this happened in international waters and it is not only illegal but sets a bad precedent in giving a greenlight for other nations to attack civilian ships in international waters. The Zaytouna-Oliva was carrying no material aid. This was by design because Israel, as a premise for their attacks, would claim that weapons and contraband were on board. The owner of Zaytouna-Oliva is Israeli.

Unlike other nations that have women on the boat, we Americans provide military equipment to Israel that may very well have been used against Ann and our international friends.  Please ask Secretary Kerry and President Obama to demand Israel immediately release the women and that they do an investigation on the incident as there are a number of troubling circumstances that are against US and international law.
