The kangaroo court in the case of Bradley Manning is almost over. He faces a maximum sentence of 90 years in prison for letting the public know about war crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan. Meanwhile those who brought us those illegal and immoral wars and the crimes that were committed face no trials and no judges.
Sentencing in the Manning trial–where he has been judged guilty of espionage among other charges –is expected to be anytime between Tuesday August 20 and Thursday August 22.
Manning support groups in New York and across the country will hold rallies as soon as the sentence is announced. The government’s malicious treatment of Manning must not go unanswered. He is an American hero.
